Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Brushvane runs entirely inside your browser tab. Your images are opened, edited and saved on your own device and are never sent to a server, so they cannot be seen, stored or reused by anyone else.
How do I convert WebP to JPG?
Open the WebP file, choose JPG in the Export window, set the quality and click Download.
Should I use PNG, JPG or WebP?
Use JPG or WebP for photos, PNG for graphics with sharp edges or when you need transparency, and WebP when you want the smallest file that still looks good.
Does converting reduce image quality?
PNG is lossless, so converting to PNG never loses detail. JPG and WebP save space by discarding detail you are unlikely to notice; a quality setting of 80 or higher is usually indistinguishable from the original.
Can I convert several images at once?
Not yet — convert one file at a time for now. Batch conversion is planned.
